Claire will be featured along with pianist Cody Michael Bradley performing "Electric" by composer Jasmine Thomasian, as part of Chicago Fringe Opera's "Sounds of Pride" online event.
FEB 8-16 Ensemble, Freedom Ride (PREMIERE), Chicago Opera Theater
Claire is excited to make their debut with Chicago Opera Theater as an ensemble member in Dan Shore's Freedom Ride, inspired by the freedom riders of the Civil Rights Movement.
DEC 14 2019 Winner, Chicago Opera-On-Tap annual "Div@-Off"
Claire is thrilled to be named the winner of the annual Opera-on-Tap "Div@-Off", an over-the-top competition of singing, acting, and nonsense! In Round One, Claire performed "To This We've Come" from Menotti's disturbing The Consul in the guise of Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio. In the Finals, Claire performed a double-drag act to Rossini's iconic aria, "Una voce poco fa," in which they depicted a hit-man going undercover as a sexy lady in order to snare his target.
DEC 5-6 2019 Director, Apart/ment
Claire directs the staged premiere of the poignant and painful one-act opera "Apart/ment" by Rebekah Driscoll, which depicts four different stories of homelessness. "Apart/ment" is presented as part of Thompson Street Opera Company's "Faulty Systems" program, which raises money for social causes through a multidisciplinary event featuring artists and activist speakers.
JUN-JUL 2019 Marie, Wozzeck (study-cover), Apprentice Artist Scenes
Claire is over the moon to be learning a dream role, Marie in Alban Berg's infamous Wozzeck, as an Apprentice Artist at Des Moines Metro Opera this summer. Claire will also appear in a selection of scenes from Un ballo in maschera, Jenufa, and Gloriana as part of the program.

Claire stage directs Thompson Street Opera Company's spring mainstage production, a double bill featuring the premiere of the minimalist one-act opera The Hat: Arendt Meets Heidegger (K. Siegel) as well as the Chicago premiere of the absurdist comedy The Man Who Woke Up (R. Haigh). Review HERE

DEC 2 2018 Alto Soloist, selections from THE MESSIAH, First Pres. Wilmette
Claire will appear with a chamber orchestra and the chancel choir of First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, IL singing the Alto solos in several selections from Handel's timeless Messiah.
SEPT 15-16 2018 Sky Masterson, Guys and Dolls, Janus Concert Series
Claire appears in the debut performance of Chicago's JANUS CONCERT SERIES, which performs reimagined productions of classical musical theater works. It is with great excitement that Claire will appear in a gender-expansive production of Guys and Dolls in the role of playboy gambler Sky Masterson, who is unexpectedly sidelined by love after years of avoiding it.
